Refund Policy

Flexible Cancellation Policy – AMENDED – COVID-19

We’re aiming to reduce your stress by being more flexible with booking conditions. For all bookings, including those with pre-paid sale rates (which are typically more restrictive), you can postpone your stay if you notify us at least 72 hours (three days) before your arrival. If you’re still unsure when you would like to stay, we can hold the credit for up to 12 months. This is effective immediately and will apply for all travel up to 1 May 2020. We are closely monitoring the situation and our policy will evolve where necessary. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to send us a message or call the friendly team at North Star. Cancellation Policy:

In the event of a cancellation, the following applies to all deposits paid:
22+ days prior to arrival:  Any payments made can be refunded less a $30 administration fee OR your full payment will be held for any future booking, to be used within 12 months.

21-8  days of arrival: Your full payment will be held for any future booking, to be used within 12 months.
7-1 days of arrival: We are unable to offer a refund, credit or change of dates. 

We will consider changes from sites to accommodation due to adverse weather conditions. (Subject to availability)

Shortening stays:

22+ days prior to arrival:  A refund or credit can be offered provided your booking meets the minimum night stay requirements. A $30 administration fee applies to each refund transaction.  Credit can be used for future bookings or as room charge credit at  Ripples Licensed Café.

21-8  days of arrival: A credit can be offered provided your booking meets the minimum night stay requirements.  Credit can be used for future bookings or as room charge credit at  Ripples Licensed Café.

7-1 days of arrival: We are unable to offer a refund or credit for any unused portion of your stay.

Please note: Refunds generally will be refunded to credit card used to pay deposit, however in the event of deposits exceeding $400 then a cheque may be issued.  Refund methods are at the discretion of management.  Fees may apply.

Sale Rates

Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discounts; Consecutive night minimum stays may apply; Sale rates are not valid on existing bookings and must be fully prepaid at time of booking. Block out periods may apply. All bookings are subject to availability.  No refunds or credit available on sale rates when cancelled/shortened or inclusion forfeited.

Early departures

We apologise, the Resort cannot offer refunds if you choose to leave early.

No shows

We reserve the right to cancel “no shows”. All monies paid will be forfeited.

Inclement/Adverse weather

We cannot consider or offer refunds or postponements less than 7 days prior to your arrival date due to adverse or inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We strongly recommend you take out cancellation insurance to cover your reservation for severe weather and/or natural disasters. Please note that travel insurance will not cover any change in plans or disinclination to travel on your part due to rain or overcast weather.

Please Note: To cover Accidents, Illness and unforeseen happenings, we strongly recommend our guests to purchase Travel Insurance for peace of mind.
