AIR CONDITIONING: All of our cabins and accommodation is air conditioned.

AIRPORT PICK UPS: We do have a Courtesy pick up/drop off service to and from the Gold Coast Airport. As this is not a shuttle service a booking is required. Please advise the friendly reception staff when making your booking of your flight details. This service is available for flights between 8am and 6pm and is subject to availability.

ANIMALS: Not permitted in the Resort. Arrangements for a person who is sight and/or hearing impaired must be made in advance and pursuant to the Resort’s dog policy

BBQ FACILITIES: We have gas operated BBQ’s that are free to use for all guests. Some accommodation also features BBQ’s.

BIKES: Helmets must be worn at all times when riding bicycles within the Resort grounds. However, for the safety of you and your guests, the use of rollerblades, skateboards, electric scooters and ripsticks is not permitted.  The resort has all sealed roads and we have access to a 6km bike track from the entrance of the resort.  All road rules are enforceable within the resort.

CAMP KITCHEN: The camp kitchen features 3 BBQ’s, Full size gas oven, 2 x stovetops, fridge, 2 x sinks, microwave, television and eating areas both inside & out. The use of all these facilities are free.

CHECK IN: Check in time for Ensuite and Powered Sites is 12 noon. Check in time for Accommodation is 3pm.

CHECK OUT: Check out time is 10am for sites and accommodation, a 4pm late departure can be arranged on arrival during off peak (subject to availability) for a minimal fee.

DAY LIGHT SAVING: The resort is located in NSW therefore operates on Day Light Saving time (DST).

DAY VISITORS: Day visitors are permitted and all visitors must report to Reception before entering the Resort. Visitors who wish to use Resort facilities such as Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon and Neptune’s Castle are required to purchase a wristband.

FIRES: No fires are permitted.

FOXTEL: If you bring your own TV we can provide a coaxial cable on check-in which will give you access to free-to-air channels plus 10 Austar channels.

HEATED POOLS: The 25m lap pool at Seascape Leisure Centre, the waterslide pool and kids wading pool are all heated before the Easter School holidays through to the end of the September/October school holidays. The water park however is not heated.

HEATING: All accommodation has reverse cycle air conditioning. All main beds have electric blankets during the winter months.

HOW FAR TO THE BEACH: We are approximately a 5 minute walk to the beach & a 5 minute walk to a tidal estuary which is great for swimming and has council BBQ facilities.

KAYAK HIRE: The Resort does not have a hire facility, however there is a local company that hires kayaks on the Hastings Point Estuary most weekends during the summer and school holiday’s dependant on the tides.

KIDS CLUB AGES: We have organised activities running during off peak weekends and all school holidays. Sessions are in two age groups 3-6 years and 7 -12 years. For further information on session times please see reception.

KIDS SCOOTERS: Scooters are allowed in the resort as long as the children are wearing helmets. Rollerblades, Ripsticks or electric scooters or unregistered vehicles are not permitted within the resort grounds.

LAUNDRY & GAMES ROOM FACILITIES: The washing machines & dryers take 4 x $1 coins.  The majority of the games in the games room accept $1 coins. There are two laundry blocks located in the Resort.  They have gold coin-operated washing machines, dryers and laundry soap dispensers for your convenience.  Erecting clothes lines from trees is not permitted.

LINEN: Supplied for all accommodation.  Accommodation service offered for stays 7days or more on average every 4th day unless indicated on checkin that you prefer this not to occur.

LOCATION: We are located adjacent to the coast, 45 minutes south of Surfers Paradise. Approx 1 ½ hours South of Brisbane and 40mins North of Byron Bay.

MARINE ENVIRONMENT CENTRE: The marine environment centre is open for viewings every Saturday at 1.30pm. Additional viewings and activities are held during school holidays. Enquire at reception for further details.  For more information.

PARKING: One (1) car allowed per site.  Limited additional spaces available in Visitors’ Car Park.

POWERED SITES: All sites have a slab including those used as tent sites.  Please ensure, at time of booking, you give accurate dimensions of your tent/caravan to avoid not being able to fit on your site on arrival.  Note: The resort has permanent residents and some sites are near or among these residents.

QUIET TIME:  For the comfort of everyone staying in the Resort, quiet time is between 10pm and 7am DST.

RECYCLING: We are passionate about our natural environment and encourage all guests to use the recycling bins provided.

RESTAURANT: Our onsite licensed cafe Ripples is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It can cater for up to 100 persons including the alfresco dining area.  Ripples also cater for functions.  For more information check out www.rippleslicensedcafe.com.au

SEASCAPE LEISURE CENTRE: The 25m Lap pool, Gym and Sauna are free to use during your stay. Spas can be activated by purchasing a $2.00 token at Seascape Reception. Massages can be arranged at extra costs. This facility is for use of Adults only.

SHOPS: There is a convenience store on-site at the Resort.  Cabarita beach (3kms North) has Woolworths, butchers, cafés. Pottsville (3kms South) has an IGA supermarket, fruit & vege store as well as a butcher. Tweed Heads has two large shopping centres that include Coles, Woolworths, K-mart, Big W, Target and other specialty stores.

SMOKING: All accommodation is non-smoking.

SOCKS: These must be worn by children at all times whilst using Neptunes Castle.  Socks can be purchased from both the Seascape and Front Receptions.

SPEED LIMIT: 10kmph. Shared pedestrian, vehicle and cycleway. Road rules are applicable and are enforceable within the resort. Please observe the speed limit.

THEME PARKS: You can purchase theme park tickets from Reception for the same price as it costs at the front gate of the Theme Park.  There is no direct bus route to the theme parks therefore we would recommend going by car, as a result we do not offer theme park transfers. Movieworld, Dreamworld & Wet ‘n’ Wild are all approx 55 minutes drive (depending on traffic) Seaworld will take a little longer (1 hour) as it is in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

TV’S & DVD PLAYERS: All of our accommodation has TV’s/DVD and nine Foxtel stations.
